It is raining!! Can you believe that? We had 2.75″ of rain yesterday and have had over 1.5″ of rain so far today. That is hard on a very active young wolfhound. I have been getting into a lot of trouble in the house so everyone will be glad when I can go outside and run. I was able to get about 2 minutes of running in with Michael during a break in the rain but that was not nearly enough. Everything is getting very wet with most of the rain coming during the past 28 hours.
Georgia was nice to me and left me in the kitchen with a Bully Stick. Unfortunately, Michael noticed I was scratching the kitchen cabinets while chewing on my treat so I got tossed outside. Please Brer Fox, don’t throw me into that briar patch!!! 🙂 (Yes, I had to get in some literary sarcasm.) That was the most fun I have had all day. Boy did I get wet and muddy.
Thanks for posting Abbey. Lake Travis is still down 41 feet after all the rain so we certainly need a lot of rain. I am used to going outside a number of times a day so rain messes up my routine and you know how us wolfhounds don’t like our routine messed up. Isn’t Kleenex a tasty treat? I haven’t tried glasses (I bet I would get into trouble BIG time for that). I have found that I am tall enough to get dish towels off the kitchen counters. They are fun to play with but Georgia isn’t so easily amused. I can (and will) get to any food left on the counters that isn’t pushed back almost all the way.
Good luck on your operation. I wish you a speedy recovery.
Hi Quinn:
You need the rain don’t you? We had a big rainstorm on the 4th, but it cleared up very quickly. I mingled with the guests, and I grabbed a hotdog a couple of times. I really don’t know exactly what I weigh, because at the vets I was afraid to get all the way on the scale. My butt and tail hung over the edge. I will get weighed for real in a couple of weeks, because I am going to have an operation. Do you know what an operation is?
I’m not sure, but somehow I think it might be life altering!
I chewed up another box of kleenex yesterday, and a pair of glasses. Sometimes I just cannot help it……….they were right there on the table!
Your pal,
Abbey
ps: Finn irks me. He wants to keep playing when I want to rest!
