Two unusual things have happened. First, it rained in Austin. I know that isn’t supposed to be unusual but in this drought any rain is welcome. We have gotten over an inch of rain. Lake Travis is still WAY down (like 45 feet down!!). Secondly, I am traveling again.
We left Austin in the rain and headed to South Dakota. In the past couple of days, I have been in two states I had not seen before, Oklahoma and Kansas. Today we are on the way to Nebraska. That will make a total of seven states I have visited. I am told that we will be in three more new states in the next few days.
I have found that Michael and Georgia will let me lay on the couch in the motorhome. I like that. It has become one of my favorite places. They put a big towel on it but I frequently pull it off.
